Meet The School Board

Robbin Vaughn

Robbin Vaughn was elected to the Board in 2014.  She was re-elected President in 2019 and previously served as Secretary and Vice President.

Mrs. Vaughn is a Juvenile Probation Officer with the 8th Judicial District Juvenile Probation Office in Sulphur Springs.

Jason Dietze

Jason Dietze was elected to the Board in 2009.  He was elected Secretary in 2019.  He previously served as Vice President and President.

Mr. Dietze is the Director of Student Ministries for First Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs.

John Prickette

John Prickette was appointed to the Board in 2012 to carry out the unexpired term of resigned board member, Foy Williams, and was elected to the Board in 2013.  He previously served as Vice President and President.

Mr. Prickette is Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Grocery Supply Company in Sulphur Springs.

Kerry Wright

Kerry Wright was appointed to the Board in August, 2017 to fill the unexpired term of Don Sapaugh.  Wright previously served the Board for seven years before resigning in 2016. He previously served as Secretary, Vice President and President.


Mr. Wright is President of CPI Imaging, LP.

Robert Cody
Vice President

Robert Cody was elected to the Board in 2014.  He was re-elected Vice President in 2019.  He previously served as Secretary.

Mr. Cody is the Corporate Controller for GSC Enterprises, Inc. in Sulphur Springs.

Craig Roberts

Craig Roberts was elected to the Board in 2019.

Mr. Roberts is a Regional Chairman of Guaranty Bank & Trust in Sulphur Springs.

Leesa Toliver

Leesa Toliver was elected to the Board in 2013.  She previously served as Secretary, Vice President, and President and is a TASB Master Trustee.

Mrs. Toliver is a retired SSISD administrator.  She currently actively volunteers in the community.

Our Mission

The mission of the Sulphur Springs Independent School District is to provide students with the skills that will prepare them to adapt and excel in a fast-changing world, enabling them to lead productive lives. The district shares with parents and the community the responsibility of promoting high standards and expectations as we provide opportunities for all students within our diverse community to attain personal growth and to become lifelong learners.
