SSISD Information Concerning Covid-19
Update April 1, 2020
Sulphur Springs ISD will extend the suspension of normal district operations through Friday, May 1st in an effort to support our need to slow the spread of COVID-19.
This is a quickly evolving situation, and we will continue to monitor and assess information as it becomes available. We will continue to provide updates through our website and email.
Our 2020 Graduation, Honors Breakfast, Prom, and 8th Grade Banquet are on the calendar with the intention that we will host them as scheduled. If we are required to postpone any of these events, we will work to reschedule them throughout the summer or beyond. We will communicate updates as soon as they are available.
All UIL sanctioned activities (contests, practices, rehearsals and workouts) are suspended until further notice. At this time, the earliest games and contests may resume is Monday, May 4th.

To provide continuous service and support for families during the extended school closure, we have assembled a Virtual School Counseling team composed of both campus professional school counselors and Communities in School representatives.

A receipt will be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience.
Next Thursday, March 26th, will be SSISD's regular scheduled payday. Direct Deposits will me emailed to employees as normal.
All employees who receive an actual paycheck each month (this includes substitutes) will receive their check through the U.S. Mail. It will be mailed to the address we have on file in payroll.
Because of the district closing, we are not allowing any employees to pick up paychecks - no exceptions. Checks will be mailed on Wednesday, March 25th. Anyone not receiving their check within five business days (by Tuesday, March 31st), should contact Tiffany Yarbrough (Payroll Coordinator) at firstname.lastname@example.org or 903-885-0993. Replacement checks will be issued Wednesday, April 1st.
